Sleepy Sunday

June is just beginning and the cold of winter is settling in. I prefer winter over summer only because I can tolerate the cold much more - it's more bearable than the stinking hot weather summer brings. Half of the year is over... things go by too quickly, yet at the same time, things are slow as everything stays the same - days repeat themselves and there's a pace to life.. a slow, steady, predictable pace..

I didn't get up to much today, Sundays are usually always quiet. I did get some shopping done (again) with my gal pal and our mums in the city. I bought my dad his birthday present (which is this Wednesday) and a new hat - I'm absolutely in love. The hat has a furry texture, it's very simple and ideal for winter. I had to wear it right away as soon as I bought it. I love it.
