Late nights, different shades of lipsticks and updates













It is now 1:22 AM - I know I should alter my sleeping habits... I've been trying to (because it is a part of my Health practical, I chose to improve my sleep because my current sleeping regime is appalling, damaging and not to mention unhealthy). It's going to take a lot of time and effort to reverse the damage that the sleepless nights have caused.

As per usual all I've been doing is school, homework, school, work experience... It's been very draining and repetitive, I've been feeling pretty bleh because of this.. Hopefully this feeling won't last.

I shall leave you with some photos of models and celebrities flaunting red lipstick, quite the inspiration if you want to wear some lippy. My new obsession is lipstick lol, it just makes such  a statement - like you can wear minimal makeup and a dark/bright shade of lipstick will add in the extra punch!



I thought I'd leave you with some tips and facts on sleep:

  • It is vital that the you receive adequate sleep each night (roughly 8-10 hours varies for different people) for the body and mind's maintenance and repair - it let's your body replenish and prepare for the next coming day

  • If you do not receive a good night's rest on a daily basis - you are at risk of sleep deprivation (is what I suffer from lol) which can lead to inability to focus and concentrate, possible weight gain, acne, moodiness - such as having a short-temper, anger etc...


  • Sleep deprivation leaves your body vulnerable to numerous things, such as it can severely affect your mental health, such as depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders are all related to sleep deprivation


  • However you may improve your sleep - but that's if you only want to
Doing things such as:
  • Turning off all electronics before bedtime at least half an hour beforehand
  • Go to bed at a reasonable time
  • Try to be consistent 
  • Listen to your body, if your tired and sleepy, go to bed
  • Don't worry or think too much
Wow. I should really put my own ideas into practice, it's just really difficult to try and be consistent, since everyday's/night's going to be different...
